Golden Age Vintage Keystone-style 3+3 Tuning Machines

About This Item

Direct replacements for vintage Kluson machines
Golden Age Vintage Keystone-style tuners feature stamped gear housings and greenish plastic knobs, just like the originals! A modern gear ratio provides smooth, precise tuning. For 3-left/3-right pegheads.

New tuners with vintage appeal: the distressed look of the Relic Nickel plating is perfect for repairing old guitars, when shiny new hardware just won't do.

  • 15:1 gear ratio
  • 11/32" (8.73mm) diameter pegholes required
  • Press-fit peghead bushings
  • Mounting screws included
  • Set of 6: 3-left/3-right

Do not fit Gibsons Correctly

By

Verified Buyer

The diameter of these press fit bushings do not fit Gibsons properly. The diameter of these Golden Age bushings is smaller than the press fit bushings that Gibson uses. So these just fall out of a Gibson headstock. Also the small tuner mounting screws that hold each tuner in place are also a smaller thread size than those Gibson uses, so those screws also fall out.

It may be that these tuner bushings and screws fit Epiphones or other Asian made guitars correctly, but they sure don't work on USA Gibsons. I ordered 2 sets of these Golden Age "relic" tuners at once for projects, so I now have to return both for a refund.

Stew Mac should point out in their specs that these tuners will not fit Gibson USA guitars correctly.

Swapped these for the die-cast tuners on my Epiphone Dot. It makes all the difference in look and function.
